‘UFO’ descends on Loch Ness

According to a recent news report, a large but unidentified object was seen to crash, or descend anyway, near the shores of Loch Ness. It was described as blue and resembling a balloon but police and rescue servcies were unable to find anything. Alien visitors delivering a fresh Nessie for the Loch maybe? (Shades of the Doctor Who story ‘Terror of the Zygons’, in which Nessie turned out to be a specially bred cyborg monster belonging to aliens whose ship had crash landed in Loch Ness centuries ago). But of course I’m letting my imagination run crazily away with me – as well as giving away my Who fandomness.
