>Solstice eclipse

>My druidic friend Andi has reminded me of the lunar eclipse tomorrow. He writes:

‘Be sure to check out the total lunar eclipse on 21st Dec. It will be the first total lunar eclipse to occur on the Winter Solstice since 1638!

Unfortunately the timing won’t be so good for Western Europe: mid-eclipse in the UK will be at 08:16 GMT, just as the moon is nearly set and the sky is brightening with the sun.’

Mind you, the sky was only just ‘brightening with the sun’ at 9am this morning, so it might be OK. Something to do while scraping the cie off the car, anyway!
