What a fool I am! I completely forgot to alert people to John Stoker’s excellent short article on the spooks of perhaps the UK’s most haunted theatre (of many): the Theatre Royal in Bath. This a really starry article. As well as ghosts, it features the likes of Leslie Crowther, Dame Anna Neagle and Michael Bentine, who was a friend of John’s. The article also features one of the strangest phenomena in Britain – the mysterious butterfly which predicts successful shows.
